Amador Valley High School’s Amnest International Club is hosting the African Human Rights Conference on Saturday, May 31 from 9am-3pm.

There will be several speakers and break-out sessions, but the keynote speaker is Carl Wilkens, the American who stayed in Rwanda during the genocide. Though many of you have heard him speak, his talks are always different … you may hear something new.

The event costs $5 and includes lunch. Registration deadline is May 20, 2008.
